On Thurday, April 27 at The Rendezvous (10 pm), Rob Millis (of Climax Golden Twins) will be screening his new video project for Sublime Frequencies, which he tells me involves a lot of drunken Thais. He’s not shared the title with me, but methinks it may be this one.
Also coming up are sublime frequencies of a different sort, namely Eric Lanzillotta’s analog synth pieces. Listed below are his upcoming shows:
Friday, April 28th
Signal and Noise festival
Vancouver, BC
Sunday, April 30th
No Tomorrow @ The Baltic Room
1207 Pine Street (Pine and Minor)
Seattle, WA
Doors at 9 PM; $5.00 cover; 21 and over
Also on the bill is Fibrillation from Portland
Wednesday, May 17th
Gallery 1412
1412 18th Ave E (18th Ave and Union St)
Seattle, WA
8 PM; $5-15 sliding scale; all ages
Opening up for Adam Sonderberg (laptop & electronics), Carol Genetti (voice), and Katherine Young (bassoon).
(Coincidentally, I know Carol Genetti from my Chicago days. She’s a talented avant vocalist [think, perhaps, along the lines of Jaap Blonk] who’s collaborated with folks like Jack Wright, Eric Leonardson, Tatsu Aoki, and many others.)
