    I’m so saddened of the loss of Vonnegut. He was to speak here last night. His son came in his place. He had missed having a home all these years. He wrote a wonderfully funny poem about people in Indiana. I’ll try to find a copy. Love to you Spencer…

    Hi Julie — lovely to hear from you, albeit for sad reasons.

    If you find that poem, please do pass it along. I’m also hoping a transcript of his final speech is posted somewhere eventually, perhaps on vonnegut.com once it’s back in post-mourning commission.
